Holy Ghost Weekend at Destiny (7/07)

Paul led worship and Ben preached and God showed up! Hallelujah! We also got an update on Turning Lives Today - what an honor to get to be part of that ministry.

Women of Destiny (10/06)

This month's Women of Destiny topic was Balance in our Health. It was a powerful message (and personally convicting!). We also had ice cream from Marble Slab Ice-creamery at West County (thank you Paul!)

Women of Destiny (9/06)

This month's Women of Destiny topic was Balance in Spending. We were inspired by another fashion show of 5 women who took the challenge to buy an entire outfit for $20!

Women of Destiny (8/06)

This month's Women of Destiny topic was Balance in Everybody's Everything. It was wonderful as always. We had fun stuff for sale so the ladies got to shop too (in addition to getting hand massages).

Women of Destiny (6/06)

This month's Women of Destiny topic was Balance in Our Spiritual Life. It was a powerful message! We had a wonderful time and were spoiled with 5-minute chair massages :)

Global Day of Prayer (6/06)

What an honor that Jim (my pastor) was asked to lead worship at the Global Day of Prayer here in StL! With a combo of Destiny and Dream Center folks, we had an awesome time with the Lord!

Women of Destiny (5/06)

This month's Women of Destiny topic was Balance in Our Relationships with Women. It was another great message. We also had a crafts fair.

Mother's Day (5/06)

On Mother's Day children volunteered to hand out flowers to all the women. It was just precious!

Rainy Serve StL BBQ (4/06)

Rain and all, we headed downtown to BBQ for St Louis. John and Diane brought bags that we packed lunches in and took the van around the neighborhood offering food and prayer. God really moved!

Transition (a.k.a. "Change is Good") (4/06)

A memorable Saturday evening service where Phil passed the torch and Jim became lead pastor while Phil moved into an apostolic pastor role. In addition to the announcement, the Holy Spirit moved in an incredibly powerful way - the last of the people didn't leave until 3am! Awesome!

Women of Destiny (4/06)

This month the topic was Balance with our Men - and as always it was good. I was also thrilled because Thera joined me and we had a fun time together - great to have her around :)

Easter at Destiny (4/06)

What an awesome celebration we had of Jesus' resurrection! Kent Henry and Jacque DeShetler led worship and Jim Stern gave the message. It was a wonderful time with a full house!

Women of Destiny Portraits (4/06)

In preparation for the launch of the Women of Destiny website, we got the WoD team to come have portraits done to use on the site.

Serve StL BBQ (4/06)

John and Diane Kramer coordinated a downtown BBQ. Twelve of us served between 150 and 175 people over the period of a few hours - more importantly, more than 30 people gave their lives to the Lord!

Women of Destiny (3/06)

This time was Balance in our Appearance complete with a fun fashion show. Leslie (my sister) even joined me! It was another fun time of fellowship and great teaching.

Saturday Night Fellowship (3/06)

Each month we do an evening of food and fellowship after one of the Saturday night services. This month was Greek food. Lots of fun for all - the kids especially love the inflatable slide!

Kent Henry (3/06)

The Stern's left for their annual Florida vacation and so we got the pleasure of not only having Kent lead worship, but teach too. Awesome time with the Lord!

Revolution School (2/06)

We needed some pictures to use for the website, so I came during my vacation and spent a day at the school. What a blessing! Great students, awesome worship - just fabulous!

Smiling Faces (2/06)

Just some random smiling faces at church - amazing how many wonderful people we've come to know since September when we began attending!

Women of Destiny (2/06)

The second Women of Destiny event - Balance in our Moods. It was a fun and powerful time of women fellowship. (And the ladies enjoyed the free manicures too!)

Sweetheart Banquet (2/06)

An annual Valentine's Day treat, Destiny hosted a Sweetheart Banquet for married and engaged couples. It was beautiful!

Pillow Talk with Jim Stern (1/06)

In January, we kicked off Serve>St Louis - a ministry sponsored by Destiny Church. As part of our efforts, we got together and made pillows for the patients at Children's Hospital.
